Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian Specialist to join our team at UHS. As a key member of our Nutrition Services Department, you will play a critical role in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating the nutritional care provided to high-risk patients.

Responsibilities
  • Interact with medical staff, nursing staff, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving patient care concerns and conflicts.
  • Maintain performance skills and adhere to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
  • Work collaboratively with the Nutrition Services Department to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with basic nutritional assessments for all age groups.
  • Bilingual (English-Spanish) skills are highly desirable.
  • Varied experience in dietetics is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is essential.
  • Registration by the American Dietetic Association and licensure by the State of Texas or receipt of license within 6 months of registration are required.
