Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Omnicare, a CVS Health Company. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to our patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings.

• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients.
• Work in various workstations to grow your skillsets further.
• Rotate and work in various assigned pharmacy workstations, including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, Ekit, compounding, and Omnicell Cycle Fill.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.
• Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely.

• No prior pharmacy-related experience is required.
• Candidates are required to obtain licensure with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee prior to start.

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy, long-term care, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
