As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service by welcoming customers as they enter the store and ensuring smooth and accurate processing of transactions. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers at the register, scanning items, processing sales, handling refunds and exchanges, and efficiently closing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and creating a friendly atmosphere.
• Accurately processing transactions in a timely manner, including cash, credit, and checks.
• Verifying product details such as quantities, descriptions, and prices to ensure accuracy during sales.
• Managing returns and exchanges while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Answering phone inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Handling payments for commercial accounts and assisting with credit applications.
• Preparing daily deposits and organizing the cash drawer for the next day.
• Following established procedures for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the checkout area.
• Participating in safety meetings and adhering to safety guidelines.

This position is hourly and non-exempt from overtime. While there may be opportunities for advancement, this role does not guarantee career progression. The job description is not exhaustive and may include additional duties as assigned by management.
