Mathematics Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our Mathematics and Statistics Department at Utah State University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Mathematics. The successful candidate will have expertise in algebra, geometry, or topology and a strong commitment to teaching and research.

• Establish a strong independent research program with national recognition through publications and funding.
• Teach mathematics at the undergraduate and graduate level, mentor students, and participate in departmental seminars.
• Engage in service, including student supervisory committees.

• PhD in mathematics or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in both research and teaching.

• Postdoctoral experience.
• Potential to enhance and extend USU's pure math group.
