About the Role

This Part-Time Teller position is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Illinois Educators Credit Union. You will work closely with our members to understand their financial needs and provide solutions tailored to their goals. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service and respond to member inquiries
  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing
  • Promote checking/savings accounts, credit cards, and loan products
  • Maintain accurate records and perform updates
  • Ensure confidentiality and adhere to safety and security protocols

Requirements:

  • At least 3-6 months of cash handling experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 12-15 hours per week, Monday-Friday, and participate in Saturday monthly rotation
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education and certifications a plus
