As a technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining the safety and reliability of aircraft by executing repairs, servicing, and overhauling components independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply intermediate expertise to conduct routine maintenance on specialized aircraft components.
- Formulate repair strategies and effectively communicate with maintenance teams.
- Interpret manufacturer manuals and specifications to ascertain appropriate repair techniques.
- Execute operational tests and ensure a tidy work environment.
- Carry out specific tasks related to designated areas such as flight control systems, sheet metal structures, or cabin interiors.
- Follow safety protocols and promptly report any incidents.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Airframe and/or Powerplant License is preferred.
- Completion of an apprenticeship in a related discipline or two years of pertinent aircraft maintenance experience is required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
- Expertise in the relevant specialty of aircraft maintenance is necessary.
- Must comply with all regulatory standards as per FAR 65.
- This position provides a competitive hourly wage.
