Psychiatry APP

Job Summary:

KurzSolutions is seeking a skilled APP Psychiatry to provide high-quality mental health care to detainees at the LaSalle ICE Processing Center in Jena, LA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric services to detainees, including diagnosis, treatment, and counseling.
• Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and off-site referrals.
• Prescribe medications and provide telepsychiatry services as needed.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical provider experience in direct patient care.
• Current board certification as APMHMP or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Unrestricted license with the Drug Enforcement Agency and in the state of Louisiana.
