River Laborer

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled River Laborer to assist with daily operations and maintenance at our Price Inland Terminal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our equipment and facilities.

• Assist the plant foreperson with daily tasks and general labor duties.
• Operate heavy equipment, including frontend loaders, bulldozers, and skid steer loaders, to maintain and repair plant equipment.
• Perform miscellaneous duties, including shoveling, equipment maintenance, and assisting foreperson and crew members as needed.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus, but not required.
• Identify and report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow directions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Perform deckhand duties, such as line handling, barge and boat operations.
• Understand and comply with OSHA and MSHA regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Prior heavy equipment experience, particularly with frontend loaders, bulldozers, and skid steer loaders, is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in a variety of weather conditions, and climb or balance as needed.
