We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a research faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy and Therapeutics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health, epidemiology, or health services research and a proven track record of obtaining federal funding.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: comparative effectiveness research, substance use disorder treatment/prevention/intervention, health services research, implementation science applications in healthcare, behavioral aspects of medication use, general health outcomes, health care policy, pharmacoepidemiology, population health, public health, healthcare communication, health economics, strategic and financial planning or leadership and human resources management.
The incumbent will be expected to develop and sustain a research program with extramural funding and collaborate with other researchers within the School of Pharmacy and other schools and organizations. A strong sense of collaboration, innovation, and scholarly teaching along with objective achievement in scientific discovery to advance the school's mission are essential.
