Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As a Pharmacy Technician - Transitions of Care Medication History, you will play a critical role in assisting pharmacists with medication reconciliation tasks, ensuring accurate and timely medication management for our patients.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with medication reconciliation tasks, including interviewing patients, obtaining and updating medication histories, and documenting in the electronic medication record.
  • Work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing medication regimens and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the California State Board of Pharmacy License.
  • Adequate background in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Training, with a strong sense of honesty, integrity, reliability, and good hygiene.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
