Overview

UC San Diego Health, a renowned academic health system in the San Diego region, is seeking a skilled Advanced CT 3D Imaging Specialist to join our Radiology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing image post-processing functions for advanced level examinations, including CT Angiography studies and neurovascular/stroke CT Angiography.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $121,355 - $150,816, with an hourly equivalent of $58.12 - $72.23. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and generous paid time off.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in image post-processing techniques and specialized software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation safety principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CRT-R certification from the California Radiologic Technology Board
  • R.T.(CT)(ARRT) registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Venipuncture certification
  • BART or BLS certification at the time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months
  • Less than four years of recent experience in a similar role and setting, or a new graduate of an approved radiologic technology program
Preferred Qualifications
  • California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) certification
  • Experience working in a 3-D lab environment
  • CT scanning experience and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
