SAIC is currently in search of a Quality Assurance Specialist to evaluate our electrical mechanical testing systems, ensuring adherence to product standards.
During these evaluations, you will verify product compliance by utilizing electrical and mechanical schematics, testing instruments, and precision measurement tools to confirm that products align with established specifications.
Additionally, you will oversee equipment calibration and execute workstation evaluations. You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, monitoring metrics, and generating quality reports. Candidates should possess experience in executing required tasks within a comparable production environment.Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine quality evaluations throughout the manufacturing process, including receiving, in-process, and final assessments.
• Oversee the equipment calibration process.
• Perform in-process audits.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all evaluations and potential concerns.
• Manage Material Review Board (MRB) assessments.
• Assist in problem resolution and recommend process enhancements.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality performance reports.
Qualifications:
• Associate degree in a technical discipline and three (3) years of relevant experience; years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in manufacturing electronic systems.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using various precision measurement tools, including multimeters, micrometers, calipers, and other similar metrology devices.
