About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Navigator to join our team at Lankenau Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in coordinating the clinical care of patients in our oncology program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, imaging staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Act as a patient advocate and liaison between inpatient and outpatient teams, ensuring seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Participate in program development, quality initiatives, and budget preparation to drive the success of our oncology program.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients and families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
Requirements
  • Three years of oncology experience, with one year of oncology nursing preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to motivate and educate patients and families.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Current license to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or a multi-state license verified through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
  • Current certification in oncology nursing by ONC preferred (or required within two years of hire date).
