About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Body Shop Estimator to join our team at Turner Chevrolet. As a key member of our body shop, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing repair plans for vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate estimates, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate Development: Participate in creating comprehensive repair plans for each vehicle, taking into account insurance guidelines and company procedures.
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare and submit estimates in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with insurance partner and company requirements.
  • Schedule Management: Maintain and execute a schedule that ensures timely completion of repairs, minimizing delays and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers and insurance companies in a clear and timely manner, providing updates and supplements as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all vehicles are kept clean and tidy, reflecting positively on our company and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to identify and implement new procedures and equipment, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Requires a valid PA Appraisers license.
  • Experience: Preferably with experience in Mitchell and CC1 Systems.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, basic computer proficiency, and a positive attitude.
  • Qualifications: Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications; valid driver's license and clean driving record; and willingness to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.
