Job Summary:

The Cleaning Technician plays a crucial role in supporting operational efforts for client content remediation. Responsibilities include packing, moving, and cleaning contents, as well as deodorizing and storage management. This role requires the use of specialized equipment and cleaning agents under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage equipment utilized in daily operations
  • Conduct dry and wet mitigation/pre-cleaning following established protocols
  • Assist in content manipulation at client sites to facilitate remediation tasks
  • Implement inventory management for client contents in accordance with company procedures
  • Safely wrap and package items to prevent damage during transport
  • Efficiently load and unload items from transport vehicles
  • Transport items to cleaning facilities for further processing
  • Comply with MSDS standards
  • Perform routine vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness
  • Adhere to company appearance standards and values

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction, restoration, moving, or remediation preferred
  • Ability to identify product usage and disposal requirements with training
  • Eligible to operate a motor vehicle in compliance with company policy
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency, professionalism, and a positive attitude
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of customer service principles and practices

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting of items exceeding 100 lbs
  • Ability to navigate tight spaces

Working Conditions:

  • Daily operation of motor vehicles for extended periods
  • Ability to climb in and out of vehicles and navigate stairs
  • Frequent use of forklifts, power tools, and hand tools
  • Continuous physical activity including sitting, walking, bending, and lifting

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
