Industrial Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Management Business Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of power plant and associated equipment, as well as providing technical guidance to various departments and facilities.

• Perform corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
• Compile records and reports, and maintain a daily log
• Provide diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical or electromechanical equipment malfunctions
• Plan, direct, or record periodic electrical testing, and recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment
• Develop electrical diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modification or expansion
• Maintain the plant area, shop equipment, tools, and grounds in a clean and safe condition
• Direct self and others in the monitoring and performing of maintenance work
• Operate various pieces of heavy equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, man lifts, machine tools, and electrical test equipment
• Read, interpret, and implement technical information such as drawings, manufacturer's data, and operating and maintenance procedures
• Document equipment problems, write work orders, work instructions, and maintenance repair requests

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
• Completion of applicable technical or vocational training, including completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
• 3-4 years related power plant maintenance experience
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment, systems construction, capacities, limitations, theories of operation, and operating procedures
• Knowledge of plant design and equipment locations, valve configurations, and normal range of flows, temperatures, levels, etc., for common production levels
• Knowledge of complex electrical and automatic control systems
• Safe use of tools, plant safety rules, probable causes of equipment and systems malfunctions
• Detailed knowledge of electrical test equipment and troubleshooting
• Basic to intermediate computer skills in word-processing, spreadsheet, and database software

• Experience as an Industrial Electrician, with experience with high voltage systems (4160v and higher)
• Troubleshooting experience on Motor Control Centers, and ability to read 1-line electrical diagrams
