About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting. As a member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering resident-centered care, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
  • Provide psychosocial support and personal care to assigned residents
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
  • Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
