The University of Alabama is seeking a highly qualified Postdoctoral Fellow to join our Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department. This position is ideal for individuals with research interests and expertise in modeling and data analyses of hydrologic processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in the general area of hydrology under the supervision of Dr. Mukesh Kumar.
- Develop and evaluate next-generation (eco)hydrologic models.
- Produce novel scientific insights regarding hydrologic responses and their controls during climate extremes.
- Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals.
- Ph.D. or other terminal degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, hydrology, ecology, geosciences, computer science, applied mathematics, data analytics, or related fields.
- Experience with numerical modeling and/or data analytics with big data.
- Broad knowledge of hydrology.
