We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Design Engineer to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop security systems, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, and audio visual systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements are met and delivered on time.
  • Participate in the development of system engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Requirements Specifications.
  • Conduct site surveys and pre-testing of devices to ensure system compatibility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
