Diet Assistant

Job Summary:

Thomas Cuisine is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Diet Aide. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care through the preparation and presentation of nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and deliver patient trays in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to strict food safety and handling protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards for food presentation and service.
• Communicate effectively with cooks, unit hosts, and other team members to ensure seamless meal service and address any concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with the food service team to achieve exceptional patient satisfaction and quality of care.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills in food service and patient care.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull carts and equipment, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Previous experience in food service or a related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment screen, including a criminal background check and drug screen.
