Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Commonwealth of Virginia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal care and daily living activities to promote optimal recovery and well-being.
  • Perform basic nursing skills and administrative tasks as delegated by a Registered Nurse, in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and families, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and services provided.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Current Certified Nursing Aide certification (CNA) through the Virginia Board of Nursing.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds, and frequently bend and stoop.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide education program or Fundamentals of Nursing course.
