Position: Superintendent, Off Shift OperationsRole Overview:
  • Supervise essential manufacturing operations during the night shift
  • Lead efforts in troubleshooting and optimizing daily operations
  • Oversee all functional departments including production, quality assurance, and maintenance
  • Make strategic decisions impacting the night shift operations
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations
  • Diagnose and resolve staffing and workflow challenges
  • Mentor and develop operational staff
  • Align operational objectives with the overall business strategy
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost facility performance
  • Foster a positive workplace culture for all team members
  • Guarantee production timelines align with customer expectations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in discrete manufacturing or the chemical sector
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong expertise in EHS compliance and management of hazardous materials
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as necessary
  • Capable of meeting OSHA standards for manual lifting
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
