Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced Python applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and future-proof architecture.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns.
  • Understand and implement complex concepts such as Metaclasses and Python's module/package structure to create modular and maintainable codebases.
  • Design and implement robust exception handling mechanisms to ensure application stability and reliability.
  • Work with the Django web framework to build and deploy secure, scalable web applications.
  • Manage application dependencies and environments using PIP and virtual environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to optimize functionality and resolve issues.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and promote a culture of code quality and excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the Python ecosystem and continuously improve skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of advanced projects.
  • Proficient understanding of advanced Python concepts such as Metaclasses, Modules vs. Packages, and the GIL.
  • Expertise in web development using the Django framework.
  • Knowledge of PEP8 coding standards and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and experience with object copying scenarios.
  • Familiarity with Python's package management system (PIP) and virtual environments.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong unit test and debugging skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
