About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our Core Brands R&D engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative window covering products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead new product development projects from concept to production launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and understand consumer and customer wants/needs.
  • Develop and implement product designs that are cost-effective and meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure new products meet fit, function, and quality requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications, test plans, and other key documents.
  • Travel as needed to support product development and manufacturing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • 3-5 years of product development experience using a stage gate process.
  • Experience with manufacturing environments in the US, Mexico, and Asia.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Annual base salary range: $85,000.00 to $96,000.00.
