Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabric Production Supervisor to join our team at the Bureau of Prisons/Federal Prison System. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising federal inmates in a correctional environment, ensuring the safe and efficient production of textiles that meet rigid Department of Defense and government specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train inmates in cutting, assembling, and packaging textile products
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and security procedures
  • Monitor production quality and efficiency, making adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals
  • Perform law enforcement responsibilities as required
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must meet the Barely Acceptable level on both screen-out elements (Ability to supervise) and (Aptitude for work with prisoners)
  • Must have sufficient training and experience to demonstrate ability to perform duties of the position
Working Conditions

This position is located in a correctional environment, and the incumbent is charged with maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
