Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at Tradeco Construction of Kansas City, KS.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a direct hire position that reports directly to the Project Manager. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will lead and motivate a team of skilled electricians while ensuring large-scale commercial projects come in under budget.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-plan and manage manpower to maintain a 90% efficiency and productivity rating on each project and job site.
  • Conduct regular project visits to offer support and verify quality and productivity targets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all project documentation, including Project Logs, Daily Logs, and Toolbox Talks.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to team members within 24 hours of identifying issues and conduct weekly check-ins.
  • Mentor Foremen on SOPs, cost codes, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with Foremen to monitor and adhere to labor and material budgets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a journeyman electrician and Superintendent role.
  • Ability to utilize NEC Code book, blueprints, specifications, and local AHJ codes.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and hold others accountable.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Competent leadership skills while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
