Ochsner Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

• Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
• Operate MRI equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol
• Review patient images to ensure diagnostic quality standards are met
• Assist in the facilitation of departmental operations, including inventory management and staff scheduling
• Adapt behavior to meet the specific needs of each patient population

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration as an MR technologist, or equivalent
• Advanced certification in MRI required within two years of employment

• Clinical MRI experience
• Advanced certification in MRI
