Job Responsibilities
The Equipment Operations Specialist will be responsible for:
- Performing a variety of production operations, including the operation of shear, crusher, wheelabrator, sorting equipment, washer-dryer, blending, and briquetting press.
- Setting up, running, and troubleshooting machinery to process titanium revert and create blends for EB/Plasma melting.
- Assisting with maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment as needed.
- Operating forklifts, front-end loaders, and other equipment to load, unload, and transport supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Performing clean-up operations in all areas of the facility.
- Completing work assignments according to production requirements and becoming proficient on all necessary functions of the mobile computers.
- Training in fire prevention and firefighting techniques to contain titanium fires.
- Communicating necessary information to relief employees and evaluating work areas and equipment at the start and end of shifts to ensure safety.
- Participating in and adhering to all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, and communicating concerns to Foremen, Lead Operator, or Manager.
- Cross-training in other cells/operations to support cellular manufacturing philosophy and participating in continuous improvement programs.
About the Role
This is a fully on-site position in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, working in a heavy industrial environment with a strong focus on safety.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
