  • Requirements:
    • Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license for at least 3 consecutive years
    • Must possess a satisfactory driving record (no suspensions, etc.)
    • Ability to pass background checks, including CORI and SORI
    • CDL B with S&P endorsements (training provided)
    • Willingness to drive to various locations
    • Flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes
  • Responsibilities:
    • Safely operate a school bus to transport authorized passengers to and from field trips, sporting events, and other activities
    • Monitor traffic and road conditions, as well as student behavior
    • Adhere to all state and federal traffic laws while operating the vehicle
    • Maintain proper CDL and state school bus certifications, following all guidelines regarding criminal, medical, drug testing, and driving records
    • Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking the vehicle as needed
    • Conduct daily pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks in accordance with company standards
