Addiction Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Psychiatrist to join our team at the Mount Sinai Health System. As a key member of our multidisciplinary leadership team, you will provide outstanding leadership and vision to assist in the development of an Addiction Fellowship Program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in medical education and curricular development, as well as experience in providing direct patient care for the department of Psychiatry, including addiction treatment in either the inpatient or outpatient setting.

Our current Addiction programs at Elmhurst include Outpatient Chemical Dependency and Methadone Maintenance, Inpatient Addiction consult team and Emergency Department Addiction team.

We offer a competitive salary, sign in bonus, and retention bonus, along with full benefits. Candidates must have a MD degree and be board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. This position requires current New York State License, Medicaid number, and DEA number.
