Description
We are seeking experienced Operating Room (OR) Nurses with a minimum of one year of circulating experience. Our OR nurses are vital members of high-performing teams dedicated to excellence and exceptional patient care, driven by their expertise, compassion, and commitment to evidence-based practices, operating at an advanced level of care.
As a capable clinician, you will possess extensive experience in patient care and a deep understanding of the specific needs of various patient populations.
You will routinely apply your knowledge, theory, research, and experience to adapt to changes in clinical situations. You may function as a Charge Nurse when assigned and will be responsible for orienting staff or students in the absence of a designated preceptor.
Utilizing the Synergy Model for Care, you will personalize care for each patient and their family, focusing on cost containment while recognizing and advocating for patient needs based on your clinical knowledge.
In non-routine situations, you will identify and implement appropriate courses of action, seeking assistance as necessary to resolve complex issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or completion of a re-entry nursing program
- A valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the relevant Licensing Board
- BLS certification required; ACLS may be required in designated departments
Physical Requirements
Medium to heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs), with varying physical demands depending on assigned tasks. Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing) may be required.
Environmental Factors
Environmental conditions may vary based on assigned work area and tasks. Use of personal protective equipment may be necessary.
