Position Overview

Tenet-Alabama is in search of a Cardiovascular Technologist to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional healthcare services.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will conduct hemodynamic monitoring procedures that require specialized skills. You will also assist physicians during various procedures, engaging with patients across a wide age range, from adolescents to seniors. Additionally, you will be responsible for training cardiovascular technicians and other personnel in the catheterization laboratory. You are expected to complete the necessary competencies for this role within the designated introductory period, along with performing other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program or possess equivalent educational qualifications.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in an interventional catheterization lab or 2 years of experience in electrophysiology is required.
Certifications: Must hold RCIS or RCES certification, along with BLS and ACLS certifications to be obtained within 6 months of employment.
