Job Title: Procurement Logistics Coordinator

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Fresh Express. This role will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating purchasing activities, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, dry goods, supplies, condiments, film, and other miscellaneous goods.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze inventory levels to determine optimal ordering quantities and make informed decisions to maintain a balanced supply chain.
  • Place orders directly with outside vendors and internally within the company to ensure seamless delivery and communication with departments on a daily basis.
  • Apply for and follow up on credit requests for non-conforming products or services to maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new process improvement procedures and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Manage supply chain projects with corporate mission-critical initiatives, implement, sustain, control, and measure their effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Purchasing knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities and logical problem-solving skills to address opportunities as they arise.
  • Ability to maintain focus and direction in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with a team.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations through coaching and utilizing company values.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, and MRP skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
