Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our Hospitalists department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret medical laboratory test results, diagnose medical conditions, and administer medications or treatments
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare providers to provide family-centered care
  • Develop and apply specialty practice standards, and participate in research to enhance the quality of care
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Ability to quickly master computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must be HIPAA compliant at all times
Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be required to stand, walk, and sit frequently, with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. They will also be required to handle, grasp, and feel objects, and to talk and hear constantly.
