Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders and formulate effective treatment strategies.
- Guide clients towards additional medical or educational resources as necessary.
- Track and evaluate the progress of Residents, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Provide specialized communication support to Residents with limited proficiency in English.
- Document all relevant information regarding initial assessments, ongoing treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
- Continuously observe and evaluate progress, preparing thorough reports.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of Resident information throughout the treatment process.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Qualifications for the Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Role:
- Graduation from an accredited Speech and Language Pathology Program.
- Possession of a current SLP License in the state of practice.
- Preferred experience in long-term care environments.
