Job Summary

UMPhysicians is seeking a skilled Radiology Interventional Technologist to join our team. As a vital member of our multi-disciplinary care delivery team, you will work closely with interventional radiologists, physician assistants, nurses, and technologists to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for interventional procedures by confirming physician orders, verifying patient identities, and obtaining adequate medical histories.
  • Perform diagnostic/therapeutic radiology procedures on all patient age groups, maintaining a sterile field and adhering to standard precautions.
  • Circulate within the procedure room and procure all necessary equipment for procedures.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors by promoting an effective safety program.
Requirements
  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree in Radiation Technology
  • Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology
  • 2-3 years of Radiology experience
  • Understanding of current Minnesota Department of Health Regulations
  • Current CPR certification
