About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing hand therapy services to patients, including evaluation and assessment for function and disability, development of treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, or prevent/limit permanent physical disability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles and practices, with a focus on hand therapy. A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program and licensure as an occupational therapist in Washington State are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine their appropriateness for hand therapy services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient progress and submit charges for services provided in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed as an occupational therapist in Washington State.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary: $93,400 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
