Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician is a vital member of our team at Times Supermarket, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Process customers' prescriptions, assist with filling prescriptions, collect payments, and provide accurate change.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, receive and unpack incoming merchandise, and perform quarterly inventory checks.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter customer information and prescription data into our computer system.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, pharmacists, and other team members to ensure seamless service.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain and care for all equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent with good math aptitude.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy or customer service role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work under pressure, and basic math skills.
Working Conditions:

Our pharmacy department is a fast-paced environment that requires constant standing and attention to detail. You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a team-oriented setting.
