Do you possess the qualities needed to excel as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with us?QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Must hold a valid STNA license in the state of Ohio
- Previous experience demonstrating independent decision-making
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As an STNA, your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in and receiving resident reports at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Delivering personal and nursing care according to the resident care plan.
- Facilitating and engaging in activities.
- Monitoring and addressing resident requests and needs with dignity and respect.
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents.
- Assisting residents in preparation for various activities within and outside the facility.
- Ensuring all resident care is delivered respectfully and with dignity.
- Performing basic nursing care tasks as required.
- Creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents while ensuring their needs are met.
- Meeting residents' food service needs promptly and compassionately.
- Keeping accurate documentation of residents' daily living activities, restorative programs, and specific resident forms.
Adhering to established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Participating in scheduled training, educational sessions, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance care quality.- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
