As a Maintenance Planner at Hitachi Energy, you will lead a team of maintenance technicians engaged in various tasks related to the manufacturing of distribution transformers. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Formulating preventative maintenance strategies and schedules that align with the organization's maintenance goals.
- Effectively organizing and scheduling maintenance tasks for operational equipment.
- Supervising the safety initiatives within the maintenance department to ensure compliance and a secure working environment for all team members.
- Fostering a safe and orderly workplace by instructing personnel on proper equipment usage and adherence to safety protocols.
- Guiding, training, and managing staff to promote operational effectiveness.
- Identifying recurring equipment challenges and analyzing root causes to avert future breakdowns.
- Evaluating and improving key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance expenditures, and adherence to schedules.
- Overseeing the inventory of essential parts, tools, and resources necessary for the operation of production equipment.
- Providing leadership and encouraging professional growth within the team to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Understanding and striving to achieve the organization's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Addressing operational challenges by analyzing data, identifying solutions, and proposing actionable recommendations.
- Employing strong interpersonal skills, coaching techniques, and effective communication to meet daily objectives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in planning and supervisory roles.
- Previous experience in direct supervision or comparable leadership positions.
- Familiarity with guiding high-performance teams and implementing continuous improvement practices.
