Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst - Corporate Expert to join our team at KNM Resources.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a 2-3 year public accountant looking to transition to a Corporate Tax role or a seasoned Corporate Tax professional aiming to grow with a forward-thinking firm.

About the Role

  • Prepare and submit accurate Corporate tax returns in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct thorough research on federal and state tax issues to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Analyze changes to tax laws and implement strategic recommendations to optimize our tax position.
  • Proactively develop and incorporate improved processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Gain valuable experience with complex tax structures and expand your skill set.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to drive business growth through effective workflow enhancements.
  • Effectively prioritize projects and manage competing deadlines.
  • Calculate and manage tax forecasts, allocation schedules, and estimated payments.
  • Perform tax provisions and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Analyze and review tax accounts, balances, and reconciliations to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's in Tax or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience in Tax Technology or an Information Systems minor is beneficial.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of public accounting or corporate tax experience is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential, along with experience with OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax software.

Compensation: This position comes with a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
