Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear CV Services Tech PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a Nuclear CV Services Tech PRN, you will be responsible for performing nuclear cardiology procedures and other related examinations according to established standards and practices at a high technical level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follows all regulations on the radioactive materials license set by the Texas Department of Health for that specific institution.
  • Demonstrates technical proficiency in performing MUGAs (stress and rest), first pass studies, Cardiolite SPECT (one and two day), thallium SPECT, Hybrid SPECT, gated perfusion, chemical stress testing (Adenosine and Dobutamine) and planar imaging.
  • Maintains all quality assurance programs to comply with all regulating bodies.
  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic procedures.
  • Supports the mission and vision of the Methodist Healthcare System and demonstrates excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
  • Vocational School Graduate
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
