Cascades at St Anne, a skilled nursing facility in Seattle, WA, seeks a dedicated and compassionate LPN for day-shift (6AM-6PM) roles. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality care to our geriatric patients who require 24/7 attention.

**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Order and administer medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Prepare and administer treatments/medications as ordered by the physician, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Notify residents' physicians and family members of any changes in their condition, fostering open communication and trust.
  • Administer professional nursing practice services, such as tube feedings, suction, catheterization, changing dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessary.
  • Continuously observe and monitor seriously ill residents, identifying potential issues and taking proactive measures to ensure their well-being.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that other healthcare team members provide care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishes.
  • Accurately complete necessary charting in a timely manner, maintaining comprehensive records of patient care.

**Requirements:**

  • Possess a current LPN license in good standing, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Effectively communicate with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, and other stakeholders, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
  • Able to make decisions independently when warranted, exercising sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long-term care, ensuring compliance and adherence.
