Agronomy Sales Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Agronomy Sales Intern in Worthing, SD for Spring/Summer 2025. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to work closely with our customers, delivering exceptional service and valuable agronomy expertise.

1. Assist Agronomy Production Sales Specialists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem-solving.
2. Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to provide valuable information to our customers and agronomy team.
3. Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
4. Generate written reports and present them to supervisors and/or customers.
5. Learn the features and benefits of all agronomy products and services, assist with over-the-counter sales, and assist with product delivery to customers.
6. Learn to perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations.
7. Learn and utilize our computer program, Agris, for invoicing and inventory management.
8. Assist in inventory management procedures.
9. Learn how to maintain equipment and facilities.
10. Work in and keep an environment that is compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture-related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Agriculture experience or background knowledge is highly desirable.
• Previous internship experience is an asset.
