Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RHA Health Services. As an IDD Registered Nurse, you will provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to individuals with IDD, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct regular health assessments and provide preventative care to individuals with IDD.
  • Document all nursing care provided, including medication administration, treatments, and other interventions.
  • Provide education and training to unlicensed personnel on health-related topics, including medication administration and first aid.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and observations to ensure unlicensed personnel are performing health-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited registered nurse program.
  • Current registered nurse license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
  • BSN preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with IDD, their families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
