About the Role

AECOM is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to support projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. As a key member of our team, you will work on a variety of engineering assignments, gathering and correlating data, and proposing approaches to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
  • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
  • Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
  • Propose approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
  • Identify discrepancies in results.
  • Provide guidance to entry-level engineers.
  • Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Preferred Requirements: California Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain registration within twelve months.
  • Experience preparing major components of highway improvement project package.
  • Ability to use Microstation, InRoads, AutoCad, or Civil 3D for design and plan production.
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively with a project team.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
