Key Responsibilities:
*Directs the product development team in the orchestration and delivery of all project outputs, prioritizing tasks and resolving project-related issues with limited guidance.
*Communicates and updates the Manager and Executive Leadership on project progress, timelines, risks, and strategies for mitigation.
*Formulates the execution strategy and project roadmap for product development initiatives with minimal assistance from the Manager.
*Acts as the primary communication hub for the cross-functional product development team from initial concept through to sustainment.
*Oversees and manages the project's scope of work, encompassing all product outputs, features, technical specifications, and budgetary constraints.
*Supervises the introduction of individual components through the product development lifecycle from Ideation to Production with limited support.
*Escalates resource and priority conflicts to Executive Leadership, providing proposed solutions to address issues with minimal guidance from the Manager.
*Maintains the project budget and resource allocation with limited assistance.
*Possesses an advanced understanding of the SIG SAUER New Product Introduction (NPI) process and its application.
*Continuously enhances existing NPI processes and documentation, develops new methodologies, and trains team members with limited support.
*Willingness to travel infrequently.
*Participates in and upholds 5S Standards.
*Actively engages in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
*Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
*Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, engineering, product development, or a related field is required.
*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
*PMP Certification is preferred.
*Demonstrated leadership capabilities and confidence in a collaborative environment.
*Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
*Strong interpersonal, communication, reporting, and professional abilities.
*Exceptional organizational skills.
*Proficient in computer-based technical applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, typing).
*Proficient in Project Planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
*Ability to plan, lead, and execute New Product Introduction (NPI), Value Analysis Engineering (VAVE), and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects based on defined scopes, budgets, and timelines.
*Ability to identify and prioritize project risks, developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
*Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects while balancing conflicting resources and priorities.
*Ability to comprehend technical product development challenges and facilitate the creation and execution of action plans with engineers to resolve issues.
*Adept at forecasting project resources and budgets, while proactively identifying and mitigating constraints.

Work Environment:
*Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
*Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas.
