About the Role
Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital is a leading provider of comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen delivery, mechanical ventilation, and airway management.
- Assess patient pain and make appropriate physician contact for intervention.
- Perform arterial punctures to obtain arterial blood samples for blood gas analysis.
- Conduct EKGs, type report interpretations, and send reports to physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
- Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Current CPR certification (BLS).
- Three (3) or more years of previous experience in cardiopulmonary services highly preferred.
