Job Summary

As the Executive Director of Noland Health Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the facility, ensuring that decisions are sound, fair, and consistent with the company's goals and objectives. This includes managing the business development, administration, and quality service of the facility, with a focus on solid financial programs, effective marketing and sales strategies, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee operations in a quality and cost-conscious manner, ensuring that decisions are sound, fair, and consistent with company goals and objectives.
  • Meet with senior management regularly to discuss financial status, philosophy, and objectives, as well as capital expenditures and long-range plans.
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales programs to meet occupancy objectives.
  • Prepare and submit annual capital and operating budgets for approval by the governing board and allocate resources to carry out programs and activities of the facility.
  • Provide leadership to professional personnel and ensure the effective management of facility resources, including recruiting and retaining highly qualified individuals and establishing employee development plans.
  • Monitor facility performance against established development, financial, and workforce plans.
  • Represent the facility in dealings with outside organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current Alabama Nursing Home Administrators license required for skilled and nursing facilities; Alabama Assisted Living Administrators license required for Assisted Living Facility.
  • Minimum of five years of executive-level experience in retirement community/senior living management; experience in developing or opening facilities desirable.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to reach, bend, and/or stoop intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work with hands and fingers throughout the workday.
  • Ability to possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics to enable these senses to function adequately.
  • Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
