MRI Imaging Specialist

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision.
- Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and positioning them for optimal scanning.
- Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
- Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
- Monitor medical supply inventory.
- Support training of new associates, providing technical expertise.
